Chef Yuval Ben Neriah is a name to reckon with. Eight years ago, he opened his first restaurant and quickly became one of the esteemed and groundbreaking chefs in Israel. However, his aspirations reach much further. In 2019, he raised over 3 million dollars to invest in a new restaurant that was supposed to be something unprecedented. Then the world turned upside down, and the pandemic changed everything in both his professional and personal life. Over two years, director Talia Inbar ("Yes Chef") documented him when everything was on the line – big money, family, and his reputation: Would this indeed be the best restaurant in the country?

Beyond all the pressures, it quickly becomes apparent that what matters most to him in the world is cooking. While there have been many full-length documentaries in recent years about leading chefs globally, this film is the first of its kind in Israel, focusing on an Israeli chef and showcasing the challenges of the local culinary world, but more importantly, the art of cooking.
